Running into trouble? Most issues fall into one of these buckets. If none of them match, get in touch and we'll take a look.

Common troubleshooting

• The reel is private or was deleted — SocialGrab can only download public content. • "Too many requests" toast — Instagram is rate-limiting you, wait a few minutes and try again. • Download stuck at 0% — check your internet connection and pull down to retry. • Can't save to gallery — make sure you granted photo library access (Settings → SocialGrab → Photos).

Found a bug?

Send us a short description of what you tried and what happened. Screenshots help a lot. If the app crashed, we probably already got the anonymous crash report from Sentry — just mention you crashed and we can line it up.

Feature suggestions

We read everything. If you'd like to see TikTok, YouTube, or Twitter support (or anything else), drop us a line. The architecture is ready for new extractors.

Privacy and data deletion

SocialGrab doesn't collect any personal data, so there's nothing to delete on our side. Clearing the app's local history (inside the app) removes the cached entries from your device.
