These terms cover your use of the SocialGrab app and website. By using SocialGrab you agree to them.
Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using SocialGrab, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app.
What SocialGrab does
SocialGrab lets you save publicly available Instagram videos to your device's gallery. It reads the same public page a browser would and downloads the underlying video file. It does not sign into your Instagram account or access private content.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for how you use downloaded content. Only download videos that you have the right to save — respect the creator's copyright and Instagram's terms. Don't use SocialGrab to harass, impersonate, or harm anyone. Don't use it to redistribute content you don't own without permission.
Not affiliated with Instagram or Meta
SocialGrab is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Instagram, Meta Platforms, or any of their subsidiaries. "Instagram" and all related marks belong to their owners.
Intellectual property
The SocialGrab name, logo, and code are ours. The content you download through SocialGrab belongs to whoever created it — we claim no rights over it and take no position on how you use it.
No warranty
SocialGrab is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Instagram may change its platform at any time and break the app's ability to extract videos — we'll ship updates when that happens, but we can't promise 100% uptime.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialGrab and its author are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including account penalties imposed by Instagram, loss of data, or any other issue caused by the content you choose to download.
Termination
You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it from your device. We may discontinue or modify the app at any time, and we may update these terms as the product evolves.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "Last updated" date at the top whenever we change these terms. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any dispute that can't be resolved directly will be brought before the courts of São Paulo, SP.
